Do you offer gluten free, non-dairy, or vegan items?

We currently do not offer gluten free, non-dairy, or vegan items in any form. The risk of cross contamination in the bakery is too high for us to confidently be able to offer these recipes at this time. If you have any allergies or sensitivities to specific ingredients, please use caution and feel free to ask us for information that could help you make the best decision for your needs. Although we make our best efforts, we cannot guarantee cross-contamination has not occurred.

How do I store my cake?

Your cake will taste best at room temperature. That means you'll want to take it out of the fridge about 4 hrs before you eat it.

If you need to keep your cake in the fridge for a day or more before your event, take it out at least 4 hrs before you plan to enjoy it. If you will be picking up your cake less than 4 hrs before eating it, let us know and we can take it out of the cooler in advance. Your cake will hold up very well in the fridge for a few days.

What is your Order & Cancellation Policy?

  • For most orders, we will not accept changes or cancellations within 48 hours of scheduled pickup.

  • For fondant, tiered, and shaped cakes, we will not accept changes or cancellations within 1 week of scheduled pickup.

  • If you must cancel your order, a full refund will be given if the cancellation is received within two weeks of your order. If the cancellation occurs within the week of your order, no refund will be issued.

How far in advance should I place an order?

You can inquire at anytime, but we typically are booked at least 6 weeks in advance.

What does "From Scratch" really mean?

The majority of processing happens to our ingredients after they arrive in our shoppe. We make our cakes, buttercreams, and fillings from ingredients like butter, milk, white sugar, brown sugar, all purpose flour, lemons, and limes. No pre-mixed fillings or frostings. No cake mixes.

Do you have cakes available if I didn't place an order?

Pre-ordering your cake is always the best plan, but sometimes life happens and our plans fall through! Every day we finish all of the pre-ordered cakes first, then prep-work, then if time is left we make to-go cakes that are available to purchase directly in the shoppe.

For this reason, To-Go cakes cannot be reserved before they are finished and ready to go. The way to get a To-Go cake is to come to the shoppe directly.
